Crystal McKenzie, Physiotherapist, Fullmoon Physiotherapy

Crystal McKenzie, BSc, MPT, Registered Physiotherapist

Crystal’s excitement and interest for women’s health began during her physiotherapy schooling in Australia as she witnessed the many benefits of immediate postpartum education and treatment by physiotherapists in hospital after delivery. After the birth of her two boys she had a more personal understanding of the need for pelvic floor rehab as she was experiencing her own treatable symptoms. As a physiotherapist she is excited about how much we can do for women experiencing a wide array of pelvic floor symptoms not only pre and post partum but as we age. Crystal is eager to spread the word and facilitate recovery so these symptoms are no longer considered normal for postpartum or aging women.

Crystal studied her Masters of Physical Therapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Prior to this she completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Crystal has over ten years experience working as a physiotherapist in both the hospital and private care settings. With a special interest in women’s health and having experienced returning to sport as a new mom she fully understand the need and desire to get back to exercising or running after the kids without having our symptoms slow us down.

In her free time you’ll find her camping with her family near a beach, chasing after her boys or sweating it out at the Crossfit gym.
