  • The answer is always yes - our physios are expert baby holders! However, having a baby or toddler in the clinic can distract you and your physiotherapist from focusing on your needs. We strongly believe that your appointment should be YOU time. We encourage you to aim to find childcare but if it isn’t possible, please do bring your little one(s) to the clinic! You can also check out our telehealth option to attend your appointment from home.

  • The muscles of the pelvic floor are just like any other muscles in your body which means the best way for your physiotherapist to assess them is by touching them. The only difference here is that these muscles live inside your pelvis! Your therapist will get the most accurate information and be able to give you the best treatment possible by performing an internal vaginal and/or rectal exam however, this is always optional. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while getting treatment for your pelvic floor and there is plenty of treatment that can be done externally. That means if you are currently not ready for an internal pelvic exam, we can wait and do it at a later session or even never - it’s completely up to you.

  • Please note that our physio’s have taken limited training on male pelvic floor treatment and therefore we are not currently accepting new clients for male pelvic health concerns. If you are looking for support in this area, please contact us so that we can refer you to the right practitioners to address your concerns.
